Sheer speculation of course but wouldn't it be lovely if someone like Origin threw a few mill into Cougar. They do have form for this type of action, eg coal seamers, and GDY with geothermals and various other alternative energy investments. But...

I read somewhere that both AGL and Origin are building war chests for the sell off of the retail energy business by the NSW government.

In any case I suspect that CXY would have to have at least proof of concept in place before it would attract doers like Origin.
