If the lower wells are 'volumetrically less significant and still carry exploration risk' it may be the case that these lower regions will never be drilled, of course this will depend on the estimated drilling cost and estimated gas in the regions. imo they may not aspire to drill any deeper and use their resources for other opportunities such as PB#3, as previously posted 'very few wells have been productive at leadville' and on the utah website for wells drilled to leadville only 7 have been drilled below 10,000 feet, only 1 of those was productive
