Ron, on a holiday in Cairns, Port Douglass & surroundings in 2006, I had a vision of living there on a little acreage with my constant sugar cane crop & the still running at full bore producing ethanol. I would have bought an E100 Commodore (yes they exist....GM made 100 for the Brazillian Govt to test years back)...and life would have been good. A litre for the tank and a swig for me, another litre for the tank, another swig for me.......... Saw a few places where people had a constant little waterfall in their back yards......a little turbine generator halfway down the cliff would have provided for all electrical needs.... Would have loved to stay over there, but was countermanded by a Higher Authority who wished to stay in the West. Bummer.
