    True trees, but sometimes some prefer their own company at times...it is often said, if you cannot stand being alone with your own thoughts and weaknesses, why would some one else want to spend time with your thoughts and weaknesses?

    I reckon "alone" time is just what the Doctor ordered when under a little stress or just need to clarify a personal situation...and if one feels like a tipple to help relax why not, it's not like it will lead to a problem with alcohol.

    That said, imo if a person who may have trouble controlling how much they drink, then maybe they feel happier to not open a bottle without company...or of course there are others who have no desire to enjoy a glass of wine without some one to share with...
