drip feed of awuinfo looks like smear tactic

The way this is evolving it would not surprise me if it is a planned strategy to stretch things out to gain maximum media coverage to smear Gillard. The drip feed to me also appears to be a strategy of entrapment where the Opposition may already know the answer to their questions but are hoping the PM will contradict that and then they can produce the evidence. The PM appears to have covered all bases with her responses so far.

The public reaction to this imo is the key to the ultimate impact. If the voters turn on the PM then she may have to step aside. If the public are sick of the whole issue and there is a backlash against Abbott and the Opposition, then Labor will stick with Gillard and tough it out. Terrible distraction for government of the country though.
