    In the real world, 0 -100 in under say2 seconds is something that does not define the average driver.

    Make the car go further, use less material & require less frequent charging (if the car is intended to save the planet).
    ie ev should not exceed 1200kg (ie 20% reduction in material used), should go 1,000 k + per charge & be get a full charge in 5 minutes without shortening the battery life.

    If you want to keep 100% charge in your battery because you commute battery will degrade. Manufacturers software built in to ensure the charge rate once to 80% drops dramatically. They should quote the range with 80% charge & to a depletion of 10% as this is where they 'expect' you to accommodate the vehicle.

    Elon can't do it because it is HARD to go further using less.

    Going faster is EASY but a totally useless parameter on which to adopt a reason to change over to EV.
