At this price almost all holders will be in the red, including recently invested PRC. Then there is APAC that bought at 5c a couple of years ago. APAC probably also did not anticipate the gold price to drop like this in 2013/2014 but they would not have bought that many shares with a short term view.

The permit for the trial mine was limited to 10,000t. Trial mining was also limited further by the onset of the wet season. They also would not have been able to continue mining without selling gold as it costs money to mine. You need the revenue to continue mining.
