again, you need to stick to what we already agreed with short positions. Both the seller and the buyer are either funds or sophos, shorts are not available to anyone else.
Hedging works this way, as always.
Retail are being stuffed around as always, the shorts are likely held by the fund as a way to reduce downside risk, if you actually understand shorts this will make sense. If not, read or watch some videos on hedging to understand.
