What has been really interesting during this current rally, and I’ve been watching the DRO rallies since IPO, is the volume of pre and post day trading from the sophisticated instos. Easily did close to 1m shares in open trade this morning, and after close yesterday.
I’m not sure how much of a difference this will make to the long term stability of the sp, or if it will spur on a re-rate, however it looks to be negating some of the shorting that usually occurs after a movement up of a few cents in a sharp burst. My fingers are crossed that the powers that have held the DRO sp back for so long are finally losing interest now that the fundamentals of this business are incredibly strong right now.
As Oleg has said, 2023 looks to be the year this small cap will start to walk on its own feet.
