The easiest investing/trading strategy is to simply buy companies you perceive as being high quality and having good long term prospects, and then not looking at them for a few years or decades. It's also the most effective strategy, beats every strategy that aims (and always fails to) predict the highs and the lows.

Nobody can predict short term price action, so there's no such thing as having intuition about these things imo. For all we know some poor fund manager forgot to turn the bot off of "buy everything" mode before heading off to Greece for the summer, and they're going to come back to a $100m bill in the next week or two!
