But yesterday's drop was driven by a change in fundamentals rather than a trading pattern, wasn't it? The company raised capital by issuing new shares at $1.15, indicating that's what the board regards as fair value. So surely your chart should show an RSI of 50 (correct value) rather than oversold. Anybody buying now on an oversold indicator that doesn't take the change in fundamentals into account risks getting scorched.
