Are you sure you have this the right way around? What about the two golden crosses that marked the opposite movement? There's a weak bullish golden cross that marked the start of a sustained weak downturn, and a string bearish golden cross that marked the start of a strong bullish swing. Perhaps it's a meaningless statistical artefact that you can interpret according to your sentiment. Or perhaps it's a lagging indicator driven by what happened a month earlier.
