I'm only guessing here, but OPSEC for defence agencies is probably a reason why such announcements don't occur. It's also why we never get told who bought items when it is a significant value; most of the announcements have been very vague.
I would not be at all surprised if we hear next to nothing regarding Land156; there's a legal requirement for government to report the purchase on Austender, but there are also exemptions to either minimise information or not report at all in certain circumstances.
As part of the sales contract, there may be potential for an agreement in place to withhold announcements on grounds of OPSEC.
