TerribleTadpole suggested that this raise could possibly be to defend DRO patents. It seems unlikely to me but while we are at it do we know what patents DRO owns? I do not see much on the website.
The other drone company where Peter James is a director is involved in a lawsuit around patents. UUV. I am not a lawyer but I think there model was to license the technology from other companies. They ended up getting sued in the US for something related to that.
Does DRO license anyone else's technology?
What makes me worry a little is that there seem to be a lot of products like the DRO products. For example:https://www.iai.co.il/p/eli-4030-drone-guard
I am still pretty sure this is related to a sale but it would be good to rule that out.
