Tosh! Its not an either/or question. You do your work trying to sell your product and somebody else recognises how good the product is and how hard you are trying, and they commend you for your efforts to date. Does it make you a dick for graciously accepting that acknowledgement?
If someone else tries to capitalise on their efforts by buying their shares and then criticises them for not giving them a quicker profit for no effort on their part that doesn't make them more of a dick?
