That article makes no sense.
Droneshield operates on a frequency that doesn't interfere with mobile phones etc. And it has been successfully deployed at civilian events.
So clearly there is no problem.
Also, using drones against other drones sounds exactly like the kind of approach that would NOT be appropriate to a civilian environment!
I do not understand why this is coming from Thales.
And the article contradicts itself:
It says the Israeli system at Gatwick couldn't be deployed because it's a laser system, but then says that RF frequency was the issue??
Makes me wonder about the authenticity and origin of the article...
