I would tend to agree with your assessment. DRO detection range appears to be its limitation (about 2km range?) while other anti-drone systems used to protect airports go beyond this up to 15km. (Simple Google search). DRO should imo focus on its strengths and that is RfPatrol, ideal for tactical situations soldier vs soldier where range is not a limitation. There are more soldiers than there are airports.
