"civilian applications will explode too as the malicious drones will inevitably become a huge public safety concern" -- This is where DroneShield should be directing their efforts, and forget trying to compete for military applications where they are absolutely wasting their time, energy and money. For these reasons:
    1. Military forces have enormous budgets, that everybody is chasing. The military know this and capitalise on it. They can make potential suppliers jump through hoops, undertake evaluation projects at the supplier's expense, squeeze prices, and demand additional features and services. The big players can throw money at this game and forego profits until they have beaten out the small players and achieved incumbency. DroneShield has no hope of winning that game.
    2. Military organisations are faced with many types of drones, most of which are beyond DroneShield technology. Most major suppliers who have battlefield anti-drone solutions also have solutions against small, radio-controlled drones. DroneShield has nothing to offer these majors in terms of detect and track capability because they have already developed rapid, responsive, high-definition detect and track systems to control their own anti-drone weapons. That leaves DroneShield with no space to occupy in military solutions.

Instead, DroneShield should be reaching out to security-conscious civilian organisations and industries. Every prison, oil refinery, harbour, airport, event space, secure border, and energy plant should know who DroneShield is, what they can do, and why it is essential for them to have the product.
