Unfortunately, DRO has no chance in the Israel market. Israel has a very advanced government owned defense industry.

More specifically, there is a company called "Rafael Advanced Defense System" that turned over $US 3B in 2021 and made a profit of $US 133 M that has been in missile defense for decades. It originally had products Iron Beam (laser defence) and Iron Drone (short range rockets and artillery shells) and later extended its reach to the counter-drone market by releasing Drone Dome, which it describes as "a powerful off-the-shelf, end-to-end solution that secures airspace against hostile drones"

Drone Dome was first released in 2016 and had done training drills with US army. "The US Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Office (JCO) recommended the anti-drone system for future C-sUAS as a service (CaaS) contract opportunities in November 2022, following the successful demonstrations."

Drone Dome was also approved for use in Ukraine in March after the Israeli government granted an export license. This is how it was reported in the Israeli press:

"Israel's Defense Ministry recently approved the export of anti-drone systems to Ukraine, a move which could signal in Jerusalem's position vis-a-vis the ongoing conflict in Eastern Europe and despite refusing to provide Kyiv with military hardware for over a year."

"Since the outbreak of war last February, Kyiv has called on Jerusalem to provide it with air defense systems to protect it from Russian drone and missile strikes. Israel’s security establishment has repeatedly opposed, arguing that angering Moscow could endanger the Israel Defense Forces’ freedom of action in Syria, where Russian forces have stood aside and allowed for Israeli airstrikes against Iranian targets."

This is one of the challenges for DRO. Countries which have a large military presence also have home-grown counter drone solutions. They will obviously prefer to use those rather than foreign suppliers. Australia does this when it can as well.
