The drone, said to be based on the Iranian “Shahed” that Russia has used heavily in Ukraine, has undergone testing this year ahead of “preparation for shipment to Russia,” Bloomberg reported, citing unnamed European officials.One source said China is already sending component kits for Russia to assemble, and could send completed drones, according to private intelligence assessments.
