Drones will have to be very big to fly in bad weather. So big they will not be allowed in built up areas.
Normal sized helicopters can fly in bad weather, but they are very big and are strictly controlled as to where and what altitude they fly at.

Then you have the problem of privacy. I for one will not be voting to allow drones flying over my property. It is an invasion of privacy, not to mention a serious annoyance.

Your talking about powered flight, but that has always been very very large compared to drones.

Drones will have a limited practical use in monitoring situations but when the weather changes they are useless.

I mean really Coles can deliver about 3 tons of groceries in a truck and charge people 10 dollars for a delivery and nothing if you are close enough to the outlet.

Im all for autonomous vehicles, how good would that be sitting in the back having a beer and a game of cards on a trip.

I was flying remotely controlled planes 40 years ago and I love them so I am not anti technology. I have been exposed to constantly changing technology most of my life and had to do courses to keep up.

At this point it is all just conjecture and opinion. We will see where it goes.
