The Australian government declared war against meat producers last year by resourcing 4 corners programming to bring to light 'animal welfare issues', not once but twice. Since this war was declared, the price of cattle and sheep have halved in value in some parts of Australia. You can't sell a cattle station if you wanted. Forgive me for looking a little sceptically at the world around me.
