Just seems a bit strange that you’ve held it since 2017 but only going to start adding on Monday. I would have thought there a few occasions before that presented better or more certain gains than starting here. I’m not suggesting it’s the wrong call, but the mkt cap has increased to a level that will require the forecasts to be met or exceeded, pteferably without the shananigans from the board we’ve seen if it’s to join the ASX 300 or even ASX200.
IMO The low lying fruit was between 23c and now in the past few months. I still haven’t sold any, but I’m not as bullish as earlier. That said, I agree with you that a takeout by an international major such as Thales (formerly Racal), would be a logical event. A bid might even trigger a competitive auction, so I've pencilled in about a $1.30 exit if this scenario unfolds this year. It is my preferred scenario.
There aren’t any alternative holdings I have in mind with that sort of upside potential and even the AI sector is looking stretched.
