To be clear.... DroneUp applies for waivers to fly like they have with Walmart . Those waivers are granted on certain criteria and with restrictions as we know . One of which is that HALO is the connectivity solution and that means to be able to fly, any flight they need to abide by the conditions of that waiver .
ONDAS /AIROBOTICS was awarded a TC or type certificate which is very different and yes is a "big deal" and not comparable to a wavier . There are three types of certification ..

This is still great news re Riverside Health/DroneUP as it will "pave a path " for deliveries in other areas and for other providers . More waivers , more flights, different partners onboarding , Halo the chosen solution and DroneUp expanding creating that organic growth .

Would be impossible i think under current ASX rules to announce this NEW waiver via the ASX and cannot be compared to the announcement for the FAA TC news we received . Very different but IMO as a shareholder just as important as stated for different reasons . We are currently operating out of 35-36 WALMART stores that we know of and all under waivers of which none have been announced via the ASX.

FAA Awards Type Certification to Ondas Holdings' Airobotics Drone

This certificate allows broader flight operations over people and infrastructure, verifying the drone's compliance with FAA's airworthiness and noise standards within the National Airspace System.

Looking at "certification" by the FAA there appears to still only be a couple which have received the complete TC status of which we are embedded in one of those so far , Ondas . There is plenty of press releases reporting approvals for other drone delivery / manufactures ETC to expand or begin "last mile delivery" operations under different types of FAA approvals of what i would call " progress " approval IMO like a part 135 certificate etc . So very soon they are all going to be required to make a choice . Do they try and build inhouse a robust connectivity solution ( plus any other required development ) like the path Amazon took (YEARS AND YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING AND MILLIONS SPENT) or do they look for a proven and accepted .... FAA TC approved solution operating already for BVLOS ???? Exiting times ahead ......

The Matternet M2 has become the first non-military unmanned aircraft system (UAS/drone) to earn its FAA type certificate. The Matternet M2 is designed to carry payloads of up to 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds) and 4 liters over distances of up to 20 kilometers (12.5 miles).
Ondas Holdings' Airobotics is currently the first and only US company to receive FAA’s Airworthiness Certification for a “Drone-in-a-Box” for emergency response and data capturing operations in urban environments.
