I do not believe that Dropbox and Covata's SafeShare is in the same league. Covata is just that a safe way to share your data (all files are encrypted etc.) that is what you pay for when you use Covata's safeshare.
Dropbox is an easy way to share files with others and between your own devices but there is no encryption and it is essentially mostly free to have a dropbox account. Companies do not really want their staff to use Dropbox through their networks etc.
However if a company purchases the Covata software from my understanding it is a safe way and encrypted etc. You get what you pay for in other words. Also Dropbox may be more secure now as the hack was about 4 years ago - I am not sure but I do not think it is good to compare the two.
In fact if people and companies want to have secure data transfer then Covata would be there way to go.
Just my opinion and very limited in knowledge so please do your own research.
