They had protective wire around them but you cant see it on that photo and I didnt include the photo with the wire still around them.
Most of the time around my place there are only small wallabies and they could not flatten the wire. But just lately there have been big Roos around and lots of them all over the paddocks around here. They just flattened the wire and went over the top.
Its been getting drier and drier around this area for 20 years at least now. It has come to a breaking point now around here.
I am about to run out of water again for the second time in about 6 or eight months.
The Roos and most animals around here are starving now and they will eat anything. Who would have thought they would eat citrus trees?
