Yes I agree, The Age of Entitlement is over. And that must apply to our country cousins in the same way it must be applied to our industries. Whilst I appreciate that they are now going through some difficulties, droughts are not uncommon in Australia, and, as such, should always be taken into consideration by the rural community. They just can't rely on regular handouts forever.

It probably indicates that many of these farmers, who regularly seek financial assistance from the Federal Government and/or the Banks are probably, in the long term, financialy unsustainable.
