Well, there won't be any CG for CGT, so not sure what you mean by 12 month holding.

Just need to worry about the washing rule (8 weeks from memory), so need to have held for that period. For those who owned shares already, like me, I am kicking myself for trying to get too cute at 25.5c buy and missing out. A buy at 26c a couple of days ago would have netted around 11.5% return if sold today at 18c, after franking credits. Long term holders could have done that by just selling their long term holdings and thus not affected the washing rule.
