This is NOT advice but thinking how I would approach it given I have membership/access to several super funds as that suits my personal circumstances.
Create a second account and have a separate set of limits if allowed
or
Investigate opening a super account with another (industry) fund that offers the option of you selecting shares.
ok, the fees for 2 super accounts, but usually for industry funds they are fairly modest (at least the fund I am in is).
