Is it any wonder that anti-drug campaigns are failing, with their "taking drugs is for losers!" hype. This approach may apply to weed, dope, pot etc, as it is a well known de-motivating drug, and its too easy to pick up in drug tests. On the other hand, ice, ecstasy and cocaine, plus steroids and god-knows how many new synthetic performance enhancing drugs, are the the drugs for winners.

Simple fact is, at the elite & top echelons of sport (or even business - who knows) that taking drugs is for winners. The bigger the prize, the bigger the motivation to get that extra edge.
