Back in May it was obvious Lehrmann could have been sent to prison on the back of Drumgolds improper dealings with AFP gathered evidence and yet Drumgold was allowed to take a couple of months paid leave and then also allowed to resign at his pleasure post the findings against him being made public.
It was his own testimony that brought him undone. Why wasn't he immediately suspended and then kicked to the kerb?
