Drumming Up Votes in WA

So our PM is looking to put 200 people into skills training so we can handle something to do with AUKUS.

His plea reads:

"We’re training the workers who will build and maintain our AUKUS submarines.

The Jobs for Subs program includes over 200 places for the high priority skills we need.

Across the country, our AUKUS submarine program is creating around 20,000 highly skilled jobs, including 3,500 here in Western Australia.

It’s also the single biggest investment in our nation's defence capability.

We're strengthening our national security and helping ensure the stability and prosperity of our region."
