Does anyone know if DRX applied for a class ruling from the ATO on the takeover? I haven’t been able to find one. I’m trying to work out what the value of the proceeds (shares in DRX) are for the purpose of the GCT event. It would normally be the market value of the consideration (which is the shares in DRX) but at what point do you take that? I understand we can apply rollover relief but (as I’m sure applies to the majority of MLM holders) I was carrying a significant loss on MLM so using rollover relief would be a disadvantage when I could realise the loss now. Thanks
