What will instead help and contribute to reduce CO2 emissions will be increasing the efficiency of the fuel combustion, because increasing the efficiency will allow for generating the same amount of electricity by burning a reduced amount of COAL.
Let's concentrate on improving the efficiency instead of confusing things with the "Anthropogenic Climate Change" theory, because this will certainly bring positive results, while the second is only a loss.
