Imo the bank just looked after their own interest didn't give the share holders or employees of Dick Smith a chance....their are as bad as Nick Abbud.
Added expenses with staff not needed due to bad management. Stores had staff just standing around or sitting out in the back room playing cards. It was a cancer that wasn't treated early on.
Anyone who walked in off the street months before xmas could see problems by way of to fewer customers compared to JB. I dont believe a so called blue chip share like Dick Smith should get to a point where the creditors can just walk in and close the doors.
Look at Qantas and the turn around there.
Imo Banks are just as much to blame.
