I have checked the ASIC company register. No evidence of any report as to affairs being lodged by the directors but two notices from Receivers extending the time allowed to submit the reports.

I am guessing it is difficult for them to pull the information together if they don't have access to it (due to resignation or no longer involved in day-to-day operations) and probably getting advice from lawyers about how to fill it in (given it can be used in evidence in court at a later date).
