Yes it was fortunate that the weather remained dry whilst the Morris Creek diversion channel was being constructed and the bore holes were done at Rocklands South otherwise we would not have mining underway.
The Morris Creek diversion channel was a major undertaking in itself and the dry weather enabled CuDeco to strengthen the walls to withstand a 100 year flood event.
