The problem is that the magnetite resource is based entirely on the mag susc measurements that CDU collected in the field, not the lab-acquired DTR measurements. These mag susc readings (which area typically collected by the most junior fieldie on site) are not subject to to any of the sort of rigorous QAQC protocols that a chemical assay needs to be subjected to to be included in a resource statement.

Different mag susc units can return very different results on the same bit of rock, and small external issues (such as the fieldie wearing large magnetic headphones, or not taking the core out of the trays to measure - which are invariably sitting on a metal core rack) it is neither a precise nor accurate tool when compared to chemical assay or DTR.
