Hey tlc,

the estimates of what is going to the stockpiles will be based largely on blasthole drilling assays, with a production block model being developed internally based on that data. This has certainly been the case in all of the mines I have worked on. There are always issues reconciling the resource block model with the production block model when you get down to a block-by-block reconciliation as the resource model is necessarily based on a much coarser drill spacing than the blast-hole drilling (although this will not neccessarily be the case with parts of ROcklands South, Wilgar and Fairfield, which CDU appears to be attempting to mine with a drill rig).

Blasthole assays will (should?) be the main dataset used to determine what is being mined and it going to the stockpiles. There will also be a sampling regimen post crushing and blending as well to ensure a consistent DSO product.
