thanks for your explanation, however,

if having done the assessment, the company then sends the sample off to the Labs for the DTR testing, then the resuls we are provided with, from the independent Lab, are not related to the test that may have been used to select the sample. therefore if there was a problem with calibration of CDU equipment it is not relevant to the results provided as the Labs would have their instruments calibrated & checked on a regular basis. So no need to be casting aspersions on CDU.
