There is no sales tax in Australia, we have a 10% VAT. There is no 20% tax/ charge on copper.

Qld government has a royalty on copper of between 2.5 and 5% with a discount if it is refined to a certain level in Qld.

Smelter in Townsville closed because it could not compete with China.

Can anyone really believe that it was a mistake on the Shanghai price by including VAT, they are half owned by Chinese and they would have helped in dealings with the smelters.
It was not silly, there is only one other answer and is why it is not an ASX issue but would fall under ASIC if a complaint was filed.
