Ok, so I thought that DSO was typically classed as an IO resource with >60% Fe. But, I was just looking at this news item for BC Iron:
http://www.miningweekly.com/article/bc-iron-raises-a184m-for-wa-iron-ore-jv-project-2010-11-11
which reads
"The Nullagine project currently hosts a direct shipping ore (DSO) reserve of 36-million tons at 56,9% iron within a DSO resource of 50,7-million tons at 57% iron and an overall channel iron deposit resource of 89,1-million tons at 54,1% iron."
On Irvine, we had intersections at 61.2%, 58.7% and 56.7% Fe. So, at the grades that BC Iron is using to define their DSO resource, isn't our first drill hole showing DSO? Comments please! :-)
