Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Laconia Resources Limited (Laconia) requests an immediate trading halt be granted by the ASX, with respect to Laconia’s quoted securities. In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, Laconia advises:

(a) the reason for the request is to facilitate an orderly market in the company’s securities pending an announcement by the company regarding a proposed acquisition;


(b) Laconia anticipates the trading halt to remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes an announcement in relation the proposed acquisition and the expiration of the period permitted under listing rule 17.1.1, being pre-trade on Tuesday 31 January 2017; and


(c) Laconia is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
