CAPITAL RAISINGS.... what are the signs of a capital raising????? I have never really paid that much attention to them but @Trees mentioned a possibility with one stock and I see every day across all platforms people questioning as to weather a CR is coming or not!! Thoughts?

All i can find on the net is this......

In theory, capital raisings to fund future growth and expansion should be a good thing.
A capital raising to reduce debt in an otherwise fundamentally sound company should also be a good thing.

But in practice, capital raisings of almost any kind and for any debt-related reason more often than not drive down the share price.
