this is just me and a very dinky chart drawing - there are far more clever people here than me 

today in the case of MEM I had a 1 minute chart open, and a buy and sell order open. I was looking for a sell down, like you see in the candles before the box I have skilfully  drawn - volume slows down and then price and volume start moving up, I was a buyer at 4.1 and then panicked at the high volume sell - off and sold at 5. Usually I would be looking at support and resistance lines on a daily chart, and a 10 minute time frame chart but MEM was all kinds of crazy today.

@capricorn12 that's how I disregard the crazy 100%+ price rise
