Completely rooted after a full day of Xmas shopping.
Sore back, hips, legs.

But the brilliant things were that although the city is chock a block with people we found awesome stores for presents.
Not the generic 'head to the mall and find something'

Also I pretty much never get the chance to spend the day with the mrs.
So I took her to a sushi train she'd never been to.
Then later I took her to a wine bar she'd never been to for two hours.

We were at this bar waiting for a dumping bar to open.
'Do we really need to wait 2 hours for this one place? There's dumpling joints everywhere" ( we were in Chinatown)
"Yep, we do"

2 hours later and she's effectively drooling as she eats her dumplings and quaffs her Cullen.
You seriously can't beat house made soup dumplings and Sichuan dumplings.

But still, I am rooted

Oh, son only asked for one thing for Xmas. 'Anything else'?
"No, it's not expensive" I.e. $26 according to him.
