Robbery story: Coupla decades ago I owned a retail business in bad side of town. I always parked immediately out front so I could keep an eye on my car from inside. While out in back room doing paperwork my lady assistant came in and said somebody's in your car. I went out to apprehend the perp who was attempting to hot-wire the car (I was in reasonable physical shape) and threw the bastard out onto the carpark, before realising it was a scrappy young slut. Nek minit her lookout was on my back beating me around the head. A few slaps later and they both slunk away. Naturally, they had gang connections and big bro' paid the shop a visit about an hour later with sawn-off over his shoulder. By a complete fluke I was out banking the takings when he called. Lady assistant managed to defuse the situation and he buggered off after some vague threats.
I gave her a substantial pay rise for that; she probably saved my life.
