Welcome to daytrading - it's a big learning curve but lots of fun and very rewarding and if you don't make it you can always retire and be a kickass short term trader with all your new found skills. It's true - half of the trick here is to find a stock that's rising with enough volume to buy and sell (I'd say comfortably - but some days it's really "in the nick of time") but the major part of the trick is timing your entry and exit. Contrary to popular belief, you can easily find good stocks that are rising and lose money daytrading. And you can make great money too. Especially if you are self-aware and don't have too many ego issues. A sense of humour helps too!
