The emerging companies index (XEC) has bottomed after a 4-month downtrend. Since the bottom at 1183, the index has printed a higher high yesterday at 1211 to beat the high on 15.May at 1207. Daily chart below. Two forks summarise the trending.

A new uptrend fork in the making will echo the XEC.
