Noe let's speculate a little on what has been sourced by that master researcher adder.
A vsriety of patent applications designed to extend the use of MST tech with scalable ammunition calibre. Hmmmmmm
What is the biggest problem the warfighter from the west faces when they get into handover in places like Afghanistan? Corruption and pilferage of weapons and ammo so the western weapons are turned against their suppliers, which has cruel irony I admit.
With MSt equipment though there is a two way control - one thr weapon olnly uses ammo designed for it and 2 the ammo has embedded within the tailpiece certain undisclosed electronic 'Keys" designed to prevent unauthorised use or copying. Source - an engineer from Brisbane in a CEO bulletin some couple of years ago.
So the ordinary Taliban or terrorist Iraqi has no effective way of converting and using the MST stuff. And right now someone is tooling up to produce a MAUL for PNG prison use - a proving ground perhaps?
Now when are the US due to hand over in Iraq? sometime in 2011 wasn't it?
And begin the handover in Afghanistan 2012 perhaps?
More Hmmmm
Should buy a harmonica shouldn't I?
